Cyberinfrastructure for Geodynamic Studies Related to the Vrancea Seismogenic Zone

INDUSTRY

1985-1986 head of the magnetics team within GEOMIN expedition in Republic of Ghana. Geophysical prospecting and exploration (drilling) activities for manganese ore deposits prospect at Nsuta (Western Ghana region)
- mapping total intensity scalar of the geomagnetic field; data acquisition and processing
- geomagnetic data interpretation and modelling near the Earth equator, in Southern hemisphere
- designing exploration drilling activities (well location, dipping,depths, etc.)

Project funded by ANCS and EU through Sectorial Operational Programme "Increase of Economic Competitiveness" POS-CCE,
